Tomorrow Night: Get Professional with Some Whiskey and Some Country Tunes

In order to celebrate the beginning of the 10th year of Colorado Springs Rising Professionals (CSRP), the organization is throwing a kick-off party. The event takes place tomorrow, January 8th, from 5:00pm to 10:00pm at Pikes Peak Center.

Complete with a whiskey tasting and a “Country Legends Concert” performed by the Colorado Springs Philharmonic, this won’t be some boring, uptight event. (We think the idea of a full orchestra performing country music from the likes of Johnny Cash and Dolly Parton is enough of a reason to go.)

Courtney Stone moved down to Colorado Springs from Fort Collins after getting her degree in social work about three years ago. She is lucky enough to call the job she found in her new city her “passion.”

Jeremy Wimer is the Manager of Admissions Services at Colorado Technical University. Wimer moved to Colorado Springs in 2002 and first became involved with Colorado Springs Rising Professionals after becoming a Supervisor at CTU and hopes many people achieve their goals through the program.

Sandy Wenger serves as Director of Operations for a couple of different companies: Conspire and Healthquest Medical Services. Over 10 years ago, when she graduated from college, Wenger took a job at the Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce—one that she hoped would eventually lead her to where she is now.
