One of the can’t-misses from COIN 2014 was the Xfinity Innovation Think Tank. Imagine it as a hotbox for collaboration and innovation.
Packed with six Colorado luminaries, four glass walls, three hours, one mission; it was built to
frame a meaningful dialogue around the future of innovation in Colorado. This experience combined the practice of foresight and insight to deliver a set of actionable goals designed to expand the conversation and include all key stakeholders.
Or to put it simply, with enough resources, time and talent, we can move mountains….
“Think Tank” Participants: Brian Corrigan, Founder + Director, OhHeckYeah!; Rick Griffith Owner and Design Director, Matter; Liz Iracki, Vice President of Business Development, Colorado Technology Association (CTA); Suma Nallapati, Chief Technology Officer, State of Colorado; Sree Kotay, Senior Vice President/Chief Software Architect, Comcast; Jon Nordmark, Iterate Studio.

Check out the video above, and the manifesto below. These were delivered just a few short hours
“I want to live and innovate in a Colorado where… visions are bold, where all people contribute, and where legislators say, “YES” to innovators.
Where public and private spaces are open and open-source.
Where education is a new competitive priority and we celebrate our cerebral depth – a depth which spans from Mars landers to micro brews.
Where one of technologies best uses is to connect our surpluses with our needs, where our citizens are generous with their support, often in anonymous ways.
Where security and personal protection are highest priorities and the aperture of data is controlled by its owner.
Where we lead in the creation of Sustainable Energy, Next Gen Connectivity, Micro Businesses, and Open-Source Spaces – as we innovate to break existing paradigms.”
